Prices for the 2011-2012 Season

Guthrie Price Chart

Student and Senior Prices 

Above are adult prices. Full-time college students (age 18+) and seniors (age 62+) save $5 per ticket. Children (ages 12–17) save $10 in Areas 1A and 1 and 50% in Areas 2, 3 and 4. Please note: Children’s discounts do not apply to A Christmas Carol on December 9, 10 and 15–26.

General Policies and Procedures

Handling Fees

A $3 per ticket handling fee will be charged for all phone and internet orders. There is no handling fee for in-person orders.

Late Seating

We do not guarantee late seating after a performance begins. Late seating may or may not be permitted at the discretion of the director and only when there is appropriate break in the action.

Food & Electronic Devices 

Food, cameras, recorders, pagers, laser pointers, etc. are prohibited inside the theaters. Turn off all electronic devices.

Ticket Exchanges and Donations

Exchanges (for plays) or donations of tickets must be made by 4 p.m. on the day of an evening show and by noon for matinees. No exchanges or cancellations for special events or special presentations. No refunds will be issued for tickets.

Age Recommendations and Restrictions 

For the majority of Guthrie shows, we recommend children be at least age 12, but admit children as young as 8. For A Christmas Carol, we recommend children be at least age 8, but admit children as young as 5. All children must have a ticket and children under 5 are never admitted.

In Case of Bad Weather

If bad weather prevents you from attending, call the Box Office as soon as possible and no later than the following day, to make alternative arrangements, excluding a refund.

Changes and Cancellations

Performance names, dates and times are subject to change or cancellation. No refunds.

Disruptive Patrons

The Guthrie house management staff reserves the right to escort disruptive patrons from the theater at any time.
