Price charts are posted on each individual show page, as available. The opening night performance of a production is priced at Saturday evening performance prices for that show. 

Student and Senior Prices:  Full-time college students (age 18+) and seniors (age 65+) save $3 per ticket. Children (ages 12–17) save $10 in Areas 1A and 1 and 50% in Areas 2, 3 and 4. Please note: discounts do not apply to tickets that are $20 or less at full price and to A Christmas Carol on select December performances.

Child Age Recommendations and Restrictions: For the majority of Guthrie shows, we recommend children be at least age 12, but admit children as young as 8. For A Christmas Carol, we recommend children be at least age 8, but admit children as young as 5. All children must have a ticket and children under 5 are never admitted. Most studio productions are not recommended nor discounted for children.


Handling Fees: A per ticket handling fee will be charged for all phone and internet orders; there is no handling fee for in-person orders. Handling fees are $.25 for any ticket $10.00 and under, $1.00 for tickets that are between $10.01 - $19.99, $3.00 for tickets that are between $20.00 - $29.99 and $5.00 for any ticket that is $30.00 or more.

Late Seating: We do not guarantee late seating after a performance begins. Late seating may or may not be permitted at the discretion of the director at an appropriate break in the action. You may be seated in an alternate location designated for late arrivals and take your original seats at intermission.

Food & Electronic Devices: Food, cameras, recorders, phones, tablets, laser pointers, etc. are prohibited inside the theaters. Turn off all electronic devices.

Ticket Exchanges and Donations: Exchanges (for plays) or donations of tickets must be made by 4 p.m. on the day of an evening show and by noon for matinees. No exchanges or cancellations for special events or special presentations. No refunds will be issued for tickets. No exchanges, donations, returns or refunds will be issued for any tickets listed for sale through brokers, agencies or other third party sellers.

In Case of Bad Weather: If bad weather prevents you from attending, call the Box Office as soon as possible and no later than the following day, to make alternative arrangements, excluding a refund.

Changes and Cancellations: Performance names, dates and times are subject to change or cancellation. No refunds.

Disruptive Patrons: The Guthrie house management staff reserves the right to escort disruptive patrons from the theater at any time.

Wheelchair and Accessible Seating: Wheelchair accessible seats and companion seats are available for purchase exclusively by people with disabilities and their companions for every performance. Up to three companion seats will be provided next to each designated wheelchair accessible location, provided that at the time of purchase there are three such seats available. If adjoining seats are not available, companions will be seated as close as possible to the accessible location. Designated wheelchair and companion seating is located in each price section to ensure people with disabilities a choice of admission prices.
