Guthrie Theater

In order to ensure that people with disabilities have the same opportunities to participate in and benefit from live performances, the Guthrie Theater provides the following:

Wheelchair accessible seating

The Guthrie provides wheelchair spaces and accessible seating to accommodate people with disabilities is each theater.

• Wheelchair accessible seats and companion seats are available for purchase exclusively by people with disabilities and their companions for every performance.

• Up to three companion seats will be provided next to each designated wheelchair accessible location, provided that at the time of purchase there are three such seats available. If contiguous seats are not available, companions will be seated as close as possible to the accessible location.

• Designated wheelchair and companion seating is dispersed throughout the auditoriums in each price section to ensure people with disabilities a choice of admission prices and lines of sight.

• The Guthrie could release designated wheelchair accessible and companion seating for sale to the public, including patrons who do not have disabilities, as set forth below:

1. When all non-accessible tickets have been sold
2. When all non-accessible tickets in a designated price category have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released within the same designated price category
