About the Guthrie Internship Program

The Guthrie Theater internship program provides college students and recent graduates an opportunity to engage in hands-on professional training from Guthrie staff, artists and craftspeople.

Guthrie Theater Internship Program Mission
The Guthrie Theater's Internship Program exists to provide interns with training and educational opportunities that will expand their knowledge of working in professional theater.

Internship Opportunities
The Guthrie offers internships year-round. The internship timeframes for most of the internships are seasonal: winter/spring, summer and fall. The exact timeframes can be found on the internship description. As we receive hundreds of applications, there are separate application periods for each internship season.
