GETTING HERE

Whether you are coming from Eau Claire, Wisconsin or Osaka, Japan, getting here is simple. The Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport (MSP) connects the metro area to 800 cities in 120 countries. In addition, major freeways in all directions, and ample bus and train service provide additional travel options. Our partners at Meet Minneapolis, the Official Convention + Visitors Association, make getting to the Guthrie a snap.

WHAT TO DO WHILE YOU'RE HERE

See a Show

The performance calendar for the three Hampton plays will be released later this spring.

Take a Tour

Check out our digs with a backstage tour, an in-depth architectual tour or with a self-guided audio tour of our public spaces. Learn what happens behind the scenes.

Browse our Store

Take a piece of the Guthrie home with you. We've got everything from show-specific merchandise and postcards to jewelry, apparel, books and pottery.

Take in a View

Our public lobbies are open daily at 8 a.m. and feature spectacular views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline, the Mississippi River and the Historic Riverfront District. Step out onto our endless bridge or head up to the Dowling Studio lobby. These sights are sure to please.

Grab a Bite

In our building alone we have several full-service bars, a restaurant, cafe and express food counter with coffee and deli items, not to mention plenty of nooks and crannies where you can put your feet up and relax.
