Wednesdays, beginning October 22 for 4 weeks from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

You’ve learned how to strengthen your acting muscles through simple exercises and now it’s time to flex them. In this course you’ll receive an introduction to text interpretation, work on scenes by well-known contemporary playwrights, and experience scene studies that focus on your needs as an actor. Prerequisite: Completion of Beginning Acting Class at Guthrie.  

Teaching Artist:  Michelle O'Neill

Michelle O’Neill is a recent transplant from New York City, where she has acted in the profession for over fifteen years. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School, where she received the Michele St. Denis Award, and has taught actors at the University of Utah and the University of Minnesota in their BFA training programs. She has appeared on Broadway and on film, in television and theater around the country, and has appeared on the Guthrie stages in several productions, most recently in Peer Gynt and The Merchant of Venice.
