Tickets for the Guthrie Theater's 36th annual production of Charles Dicken's holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, go on sale Tuesday, September 7 at 11 a.m.

The Guthrie announced today that it will offer a special Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program - The Record Reflects: Accounts of Bias in the "Scottsboro Boys" Trials - in conjunction with WestLegalEd for the Thursday, September 16 performance of The Scottsboro Boys. Attorneys can fulfill Continuing Legal Education requirements (1.0 hour) by attending the production and the moderated post-play discussion examining the many powerful legal issues it raised in the critically-acclaimed production. Tickets for this special event are attorneys are $65 and include the performance.

THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS officially opens tonight at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN prior to beginning its Broadway run at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street)  on Thursday, October 7 (Broadway opening night is Sunday, October 31). The Guthrie production began performances July 31 and will play through September 25 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.
