(Minneapolis/St. Paul) Tickets for the world premiere production of Little House on the Prairie go on sale by phone and in person at the Guthrie Box Office on Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. Internet sales through http://www.littlehousethemusical.com/ will begin Saturday, June 28 at 10 a.m. Previews begin July 26, with opening night set for August 15 and performances continuing through October 5. Single tickets are priced from $29 to $65, with opening night prices ranging from $54 to $75.

Come down to the Guthrie on Friday, June 27 to purchase tickets and enjoy a morning of family activities, giveaways and special appearances from 10 a.m. - 12 noon in celebration of the world premiere production!

The first 100 people to purchase tickets in person at the Guthrie Box Office will receive a voucher for a special autographed copy of Laura Ingalls Wilder's book Little House on the Prairie - signed by cast members from the upcoming Guthrie production.

The new musical based on the classic tales penned by Laura Ingalls Wilder will be directed by Francesca Zambello, and feature a book by Tony Award-winning writer Rachel Sheinkin, lyrics by Donna di Novelli and music by Academy Award-winning film composer Rachel Portman.
