“All the world’s a stage” is one of Shakespeare’s most frequently quoted passages from one of his most popular fairy tales. As You Like It is a metaphor of love: its power, madness, danger, humor and reflection. On one level it is a diverting amusement. On a deeper level, it is a journey of discovery, in which the characters gain knowledge of themselves and the world. When Rosalind and Orlando fall in love, they are unable to act on their feelings. Forced to flee for their lives into the Forest of Arden, they find themselves entangled in a beguiling game of love, lust and mistaken identity in one of Shakespeare’s great comedies. Will the forest heal the family feud?

Run time: 2 hours 35 minutes including intermission
Seating in the Dowling Studio is general admission and begins 30 minutes before curtain.
