Skiing on Broken Glass
by David Goldstein
directed by Joe Dowling
Mark is a lonely writer still hurting from his partner's death some years before. Then he meets Todd, an enigmatic young male escort whose charm and resilience attract and impress Mark, but whose past remains murky. Soon the two find themselves in an unlikely relationship that neither really understands -- and that will either heal them both or tear them to shreds.
"Everything the Guthrie brings to this production is great ... Worth an evening trip to the theater"
"David Darrow's edgy performance gives the show its life force ... Bill McCallum is funny as the cruelly exploitive Thomas, a good match for Michelle O'Neill's harshly truth-telling Edith"
~ Star Tribune
Michael Booth "brings a genuine sense of loss and longing to the role"
~ Pioneer Press
Run time: 90 minutes with no intermission.
