Telling: Minnesota 2015

March 06 - March 15, 2015 in the Dowling Studio

The Guthrie welcomes the return of The Telling Project, expanding upon work begun in the Studio in 2013. This new play performed by a cast of Minnesota veterans and written from their own experiences, Telling: Minnesota 2015 will create an opportunity for area military veterans to speak, and their fellow citizens to listen.

The Telling Project has put more than 80 military veterans and military family members on stage across the US to tell their stories of service. Visit for more information about The Telling Project.

In connection with Telling: Minnesota 2015, we are creating an engagement gallery inside the Dowling Studio, and we invite you to bring a photo of yourself or someone you love who has served in the military for our veterans wall. After the performance, help us assemble a community collage of images, ideas and impressions in response to this important piece.

Approximate run time: 75 minutes.
This performance includes mature themes and adult language.

Seating in the Dowling Studio is general admission and begins 30 minutes before curtain.
