Volunteer Signup

Volunteers are critically important to the Guthrie. The Guthrie is proud to have more than 400 volunteers who donate their time and talents to help the theater realize its goal of reaching out to the community.

Volunteers serve as greeters and ushers, provide general office assistance, prepare food for the theater's tech dinners, assist the staff at CostumeRentals, work in the Guthrie Store, and model costumes at special events. Volunteer perks include complimentary tickets to Guthrie performances, discounts in the Guthrie Store and on classes at the Guthrie. Becoming a Guthrie volunteer is your ticket to the comedy, drama and the adventure of theater - and to playing a very special role in one of the nation's leading theaters. If you love theater and want to be a part of the magic of the Guthrie, read on!
