Patron Services Desk
The Patron Services Desk is located in the north end of the lobby on Level Four. Patrons may borrow assistive listening equipment as well as Braille and large print programs, arrange for a taxi, report an emergency or get general information. The following may be borrowed from the Patron Services Desk at no charge:
- FM Assistive Listening System receivers
- FM Audio Description receivers
- High magnification sport glasses for vision enhancement
- Braille and Large Print programs and brochures
Concierge Desk
The Concierge Desk is located in the south end of the lobby on Level One, just inside the front entrance. Staff and volunteers working at the Concierge Desk greet patrons as they arrive and can provide information about the Guthrie and our neighborhood.
Accessibility Outreach
The Guthrie is a partner with VSA arts of Minnesota and their Access to Performing Arts Project, which among other things helps arts organizations get started, continue and afford to offer ASL Interpreted, Captioned and Audio Described performances. If your venue does not have Audio Description equipment, reservations can be made through the Guthrie by contacting the Accessibility Manager by e-mail at accessibility@guthrietheater.org or phone at 612.225.6390 (voice). The Guthrie voluntarily manages this reservation system.
The Guthrie produces Braille and Large Print materials for local arts organizations. Contact the Accessibility Manager for details and rates.
