Guthrie and KARE 11 team up for Nov.17 food drive

The Guthrie and KARE 11 television will team up on Tuesday, November 17 (6 - 9 a.m.) to offer a morning "drive-thru" food drive supporting the Emergency Food Shelf Network, with donations being collected curb-side by the big red sign in front of the Guthrie.

Individuals who donate a non-perishable food item that morning will receive a free cup of coffee or cider, a holiday treat from Sea Change, and a special thank you package including discounts to the Guthrie and Sea Change.

Over the past 10 years, the Guthrie's holiday food drive has collected 34,000 pounds of food -- adding up to over 25,000 individual meals.
