PARKING ALERT! Twins and Vikings games could bring 100,000 people Downtown Sept. 2

The first concurrent Twins and Vikings games will bring big crowds to downtown Minneapolis the evening of Thursday, Sept. 2. Please allow extra travel time on, as the City of Minneapolis estimates that as many as 100,000 people could fill Target Field and the Metrodome for both events.

If you're coming to see The Scottsboro Boys at the Guthrie that evening, you can purchase parking vouchers for the Guthrie ramp in advance, by calling the Guthrie Box Office at 612.377.2224. Vouchers are $8 and must be shown as you enter the ramp.

Please allow extra travel time on Viking game days, as the City of Minneapolis closes streets around the Metrodome as a security measure.
