Traffic/parking alert for Saturday, September 12

Traffic will be heavy and parking potentially difficult in Minneapolis on Saturday, September 12.

In downtown Minneapolis, the Minnesota Twins play at the Metrodome at 12:10 p.m. President Obama will appear at the Target Center at 12:3 p.m. The motorcade for the latter event very well may shut down a number of streets. 

Additionally the Minnesota Gophers football team plays its first home game in its new stadium on the University of Minnesota's West Bank Campus in Stadium Village. Traffic and parking through there is also expected to be heavy. 

Please plan for plenty of time traveling to and from the Guthrie on Saturday.
