Here's how it works: bring your little ones, ages 4 - 11, to one of our free theater workshops. While the kids take part in fun classes taught by Guthrie professionals in our Learning Center, the rest of the family gets $15 tickets to that afternoon's matinee performance of the same show. Our Target Play Dates are the perfect way to share award-winning theater with the whole family.

  • A View from the Bridge: Saturday, September 27, 2008 and Saturday, October 25, 2008
  • Shadowlands: Saturday, November 15, 2008 and Wednesday, December 3, 2008

On sale January 7, 2009

  • The Two Gentlemen of Verona: Saturday, February 7, 2009 and Wednesday, March 25, 2009
  • A Delicate Balance: Saturday, February 28, 2009
  • Caroline, or Change: Saturday, May 2, 2009 and Saturday, June 13, 2009
  • When We Are Married: Saturday, July 18, 2009

PLEASE NOTE:
Tickets for Target Play Dates are only available by calling the Guthrie Box Office at 612.377.2224 or ordering in person at the Box Office. You may make reservations for two separate plays per phone call. You may make up to four child and four adult ticket reservations per event. Only children ages 4-11 are eligible for Play Dates. For Little House on the Prairie children ages 4-7 are eligible; ages 8 and older can attend the show.
