Guthrie Theater

Namir is a Newark, NJ native and is a recent graduate of the U of M/Guthrie BFA Program. His latest roles include Penumbra Theatre's ON THE OPEN ROAD and Children's Theatre Company's BUD, NOT BUDDY. Recently featured in the STAR TRIBUNE's piece titled "Young Artists: On the Verge," Namir stated "I've always wanted to have the charisma of Denzel Washington, the dignity of Sidney Poitier, the work ethic of Samuel Jackson and the chameleon-like effect of Jeffrey Wright. I want to be a transformer, and pretty much be anyone."
