05.13.08 - KIDS REPLACE BASEBALL WITH SHAKESPEARE!
Hi, My son, 7th grade, had the opportunity to see the play through school (as did 2 of our 7th grade neighbors). It must have impressed them. They assembled a troupe in the neighborhood and just came to our house (where I keep the old dress up boxes on hand). They wanted a crown, a cape, a "mane" idea, a helmet, etc. - a reenactment of the Pyramus and Thisbe scene I asked? Yes! So our son is wearing oversized clown sunglasses to hold his "mane" in place, Henry is wearing a Viking helmet and chestplate, and for all I know they'll recruit the Bichon up the block to be Moon's dog! They could be playing a pick-up game of baseball, but no Shakespeare is alive!!!!! Thanks, Cindy Hewitt
