SOLD OUT - at present there are no tickets available for any performance of King Lear. However, it is possible tickets might be returned and would be available for sale on the day of the performance. If you wish to see King Lear we suggest you plan to wait in a cancellation line on the day of the show you wish to attend. This line begins whenever the first person comes down to the theater and asks to be in the cancellation line. There will be a limit of 4 tickets per person if tickets become available in the cancellation line.

Previous RSC Artistic Director Trevor Nunn directs an ensemble company in King Lear and The Seagull. Ian McKellen returns to the Royal Shakespeare Company after 17 years to play the title role in Shakespeare's epic tragedy.
