Guthrie Theater

In this unique program, 14 talented actors from advanced actor training programs across the country are invited to the Guthrie for nine weeks of classes, workshops, rehearsals and activities, all aimed at building a bridge between the conservatory and the profession.

Each summer the experience includes a public performance, which this year will be presented in the Dowling Studio, July 23 – August 3. Caviar on Credit is the result of a creative collaboration between Marcela Lorca and the actors. Based on a true story about identity theft, the cast collaborated in creating a comedic mystery story inspired by film noir style. Using elements of radio drama, music and movement, this dynamic production illustrates the different faces of truth in our current communication and technology-filled age.
