What's your hometown?
Moorhead, MN

First show you saw at the Guthrie?
The Guthrie's touring production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. I was in 8th grade and Randy Reyes played Puck in boy shorts, hair extensions and pierced nipples. I've never been the same since.

First show you were in at the Guthrie?
A Christmas Carol - 2007.

First show you were ever in?
The Secret Garden ... wasn't everybody?

What's the best advice you've received from a fellow actor?
"Rhymed endings aren't to be ignored. In fact, if you have any idea what you're doing you should be embracing the bejesus out of them." - Charles Keating

What's the worst advice you've ever received from a fellow actor?
The winner is: Anybody who advises someone to gain twenty pounds, lose twenty pounds or simply spend a bunch of time working out in a gym to become a successful actor. That's always been my least favorite kind of advice to actors hungry for self-improvement.

Cue or Target Lounge?
I almost always prefer Cue.

What is always in your dressing room?
Throat Coat tea
cough drops
backpack with my school books in it
and a pin-up poster of Francis Flute.

Relationship status?
Taken! I've been with my girlfriend Vanessa since January of 2007. She is a one-toothed commercial fisherman from Canada and I'm just nuts about her.

If you could have dinner with any playwright, living or dead, who would it be?
Chuck Mee ... perhaps with drinks afterwards with Tennessee Williams.

Nope.

Mapps Coffee, Riverview Theater, Noodles & Company

Dogs or cats?
Definitely dogs.

Shaw or Chekov?
CHEK-OV. Without a doubt.

Boxers or briefs?
I'm not that choose-y or particular. As long as I'm not wearing my flying Fairy harness or my dance belt, I'm as happy as can be.
