Keep the kids busy during their winter break from school! Send 'em to the Guthrie for our Performing Arts Camps.
Designed to spark the imagination through theater games, creative movement and fun, our camps are led by creative and talented Guthrie artists. For ages 11 to 13 and 14 to 16. We offer two one-day camps in October and one two-day camp in December.
2009 Winter Camps
Camp Shakespeare
Two days of fun with language, passion and Shakespearean “magic!” Led by experienced classical Guthrie actors, students will undergo training in acting, voice and movement using Shakespearean scenes and sonnets. Wield a staff, be a bawdy clown or a wicked villain! No previous experience with Shakespeare necessary.
Tuesday Dec 29 & Wednesday Dec 30 (14 – 16 year olds)
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day

Registering for Guthrie camps is as easy as 1, 2, 3 … and 4!
1) Fill out the registration form for your camper: download your registration form!
We welcome kids ages 11 to 16 (age requirements are based on a camper’s age as of October 15, 2009). Please fill in all blanks and circles that apply.
2) Select a payment option.
Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will receive a confirmation of registration by mail.
3) Mail or fax the form to the Guthrie.
