Health and Safety
Safety on and off the stage
As COVID-19 prevention efforts continue to evolve, the Guthrie closely monitors local, state and federal guidelines and consults with medical experts and its internal COVID-19 Safety Team to adjust health and safety policies as needed. Behind the scenes, we follow specific protocols to help mitigate risk, keep shows onstage and create a safe work environment for artists and staff.
As of August 22, 2023, masks are encouraged but no longer required to visit or attend a performance at the Guthrie.
If you are unable to attend a performance because you are sick, you may call the Box Office at 612.377.2224 to exchange your tickets no later than 4 p.m. on the day of your scheduled performance (noon for a matinee).
Thank you, and we’ll see you at the theater!
