PRESENTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA / GUTHRIE THEATER B.F.A. ACTOR TRAINING PROGRAM

Dowling Studio

Overview

Boudica is the estranged wife of King Prasutagus and one of Britain’s most infamous triple threats: a queen, a warrior and a rebel. When she returns after the king’s death to claim her throne, she is met with turmoil and denial that forces her to rally an army and fight for what is rightfully hers. Written in 2017, this powerful new play pairs ancient history with the modern world to tell a riveting and relevant story.

Boudica is performed by the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater B.F.A. Actor Training Program Class of 2019.
