Work With Us
Every year, more than 500 people help ensure our success in creating and supporting the highest level of theater, both onstage and off. Many different talents and skills are needed to do our work, and we offer full-time and part-time career opportunities.
The Guthrie is committed to recruiting and fostering a diverse staff who reflects our world. We strongly encourage people from underrepresented groups and diverse backgrounds to apply. EOE/AA employer.
We offer annual fellowship opportunities in production and theater arts administration that seek to cultivate future leaders in theater through experiential learning and professional training. Our fellows develop lifelong relationships with their peers and deep ties to the Guthrie throughout their careers.
Artists and professionals early in their careers who could benefit from mentorship and applied practice are encouraged to apply. We provide financial support to our fellows and honor equity, diversity and inclusion in our selection process.
New fellowship opportunities will be announced in January 2020.
Volunteer with us
We rely on hundreds of volunteers to make our work possible. The majority work with the Front of House staff to ensure our patrons have an outstanding experience at the Guthrie, and we occasionally utilize volunteers for administrative support.
