Student Matinees

Have fun. Laugh. Be Moved. Engage.

For so many Minnesotans, their introduction to theater was a field trip to the Guthrie for a student matinee, where they saw important stories that illuminate our common humanity come to life.

We are strongly committed to nurturing a positive learning environment that values thoughtful questioning, recognizes mistakes as learning opportunities and encourages honest and open dialogue. The resources on this page were developed to help you create the best educational experience for your students when they attend our theater.
