Usher

Welcome and assist patrons as they arrive for performances, help with seating and wayfinding, and create a warm, welcoming theater experience.

Lobby Greeter

Offer a friendly first impression by greeting patrons and guests in our lobby spaces, answering basic questions and helping ensure they feel cared for the moment they walk through our doors.

Tour Assistant

Support our public and private backstage tours by guiding guests through the building and helping to showcase the heart, history and architecture of the Guthrie.

Kitchak Lounge Host

Create a welcoming environment in our exclusive donor lounge by greeting guests, maintaining a comfortable atmosphere and assisting staff as needed before the show and during intermission.

Special Events Support

Represent the Guthrie at special programs, donor gatherings and community events by assisting with check‑in, wayfinding, distribution of materials, hospitality and general event support.

Administrative Support

Help behind the scenes with tasks such as assembling mailings, organizing materials, data entry or lending other office‑based support that keeps our theater operations running smoothly.

Project-Based or Skills-Based Volunteer

Use your own unique talents — from organization to crafting to specialized skills — to support theater projects and department needs. Perfect for volunteers who want to contribute time in a flexible, meaningful way.
