FAQ
How do I access Theater in Focus materials?
Educators must complete the online registration form. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with links and instructions to access the Theater in Focus materials.
Links to access the film will expire quarterly. Once expired, educators will need to register again for a new link.
May I share these resources?
We encourage you to spread the word about Theater in Focus within your professional networks — however, each educator must register their class individually to gain access to the materials.
What if I have trouble streaming the video due to weak Wi-Fi or other technical issues?
We recommend locating a stable internet connection outside of your school and using the download feature on Vimeo. To download a video, click the Download button that appears below the video player. A menu will appear with links for several versions of the video. Depending on your browser, clicking the link may result in the video playing in a new tab instead of downloading the file to your computer. If this occurs, please do the following:
- WINDOWS USERS: Right-click on the link and choose Save as or Save target as to save to your computer.
- MAC USERS: Press and hold the Control key, click the link and choose Save link as or Download linked file to save to your computer
If I have access to the video and a strong internet connection but still cannot stream the video, what should I do?
Visit the Vimeo Help Center for troubleshooting assistance. If you still need help or have questions, email the Guthrie Education Team at education@guthrietheater.org. We are happy to help!
How long will I have access to the video and curriculum?
The Theater in Focus curriculum password is reset quarterly. If your password expires sooner than four months after first access, please email education@guthrietheater.org.
What accessibility resources are available with the curriculum?
We created Theater in Focus with accessibility and adaptability in mind. Closed captioning is available on the video through Vimeo. The curriculum itself is adaptable for in-person, hybrid, virtual and asynchronous learning environments. All content is downloadable.
