Plan Your Visit
Know before you go
As we resume in-person performances, the health and safety of our staff, artists, audiences and guests continues to be our top priority. From masking to vaccination, we’ve outlined our requirements so you know exactly what to expect when you visit the Guthrie.
Before you explore the Guthrie, read more about these building features that make the Guthrie an architectural marvel.
Photography note: At this time, we welcome architecture photography only (no personal portraits or selfies, please). Masks must be worn at all times. The Guthrie reserves the right to terminate photography or filming on the property.
Thanks for your cooperation!
Ignite the imagination
As you’re taking in the sights and sounds of the Guthrie on the river, you won’t want to miss two interactive exhibits on our building’s exterior. Strike a pose in front of the selfie stations on South 2nd Street; then pop around to our riverside entrance to make your debut on hand-painted steps with a message near and dear to our hearts.
Stay tuned for more
We love showing guests around the Guthrie, and we hope to resume our backstage and architecture tours in 2022. Food and beverage service will likely return in phases, and we’ll share more information in the coming months. Until then, we encourage you to support nearby restaurants in our neighborhood.
