Go behind the scenes of our world-renowned facility with unique tour experiences perfect for individuals or groups. Due to popularity, reservations are strongly encouraged. Tour routes are subject to change based on theater programming and special events.

Backstage tours
Go behind the scenes to explore the Guthrie's stages, scene shop, costume shop, prop shop and rehearsal rooms. Plus, learn about the building's noteworthy architectural features. Tours begin at 10:15 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturday of the month.
$18 per person
$12 for subscribers, students and seniors
$9 for youth 5-17 years old
Accessibility tours
ASL-interpretation for public tours may be arranged two weeks in advance by contacting accessibility@guthrietheater.org. Complimentary sensory tours for patrons who are blind or have low vision take place before audio-described Saturday matinees at 10:30 a.m. and allow patrons to explore the stage, costumes and props. Reservations are not required.
