The more the merrier
Live theater is even more thrilling when you experience it with others. Whether you’re interested in bringing your class to see Shakespeare or your book club to see a literary adaptation, the Guthrie offers unique opportunities for groups of all ages, sizes and occasions. Groups of 15 or more also enjoy discounted tickets to performances.
We are now accepting group ticket requests for our 2024–2025 Season. Get the details below, and we’ll see you at the theater!
Group ticket requests for our 2025–2026 Season are coming soon.

See a show
All student and adult groups of 15 or more qualify for discounts on tickets to Guthrie productions. When group tickets to your desired show go on sale, here’s how it works:
- Make your request online, by phone or by email, and we’ll reserve your tickets (subject to availability).
- Pay 20% of your total within 30 days of your reservation.
- Share the final number of tickets and pay your balance in full 60 days prior to your performance.
- Check your mailbox for the tickets, and we’ll see your group at the theater!
Group orders not completed 60 days in advance are subject to cancellation and will result in a 10% handling fee.

Bring students to a matinee
Every season, the Guthrie welcomes thousands of students to the theater and engages with them before and after the show to further explore the stories, themes and questions presented onstage.

Plan a group experience
Scheduling a tour or workshop is a great way to further engage your group with the Guthrie. Get a backstage look at our shops or explore the artistic disciplines behind the curtain through a hands-on workshop.
