Ticket policies

Child age recommendations: For most Guthrie shows, we recommend children be at least age 12, but admit children as young as 8. For A Christmas Carol, we recommend children be at least age 8, but admit children as young as 5. All children must have a ticket, and children under 5 are never admitted.

Handling fees: A per ticket handling fee will be charged for all phone and internet orders; there is no handling fee for in-person orders. Handling fees are $.25 for any ticket $10.00 and under, $1.00 for tickets that are between $10.01 - $19.99, $3.00 for tickets that are between $20.00 - $29.99 and $5.00 for any ticket that is $30.00 or more.

Late seating: We do not guarantee late seating after a performance begins. Late seating may or may not be permitted at the discretion of the director at an appropriate break in the action. You may be seated in an alternate location designated for late arrivals and take your original seats at intermission.

Ticket exchanges and donations: Exchanges (for plays) or donations of tickets must be made by 4 p.m. on the day of an evening show and by noon for matinees. No exchanges or cancellations for special events or special presentations. No refunds will be issued for tickets. No exchanges, donations, returns or refunds will be issued for any tickets listed for sale through brokers, agencies or other third party sellers.

In case of bad weather: If bad weather prevents you from attending, call the Box Office as soon as possible and no later than the following day to make alternative arrangements, excluding a refund.

Changes and cancellations: Performance names, dates and times are subject to change or cancellation.
