Donor Spotlight: Anne Louise Liska
April 2, 2026
Anne Louise Liska has supported the Guthrie since 2007 as both a subscriber and donor. Today, she continues her personal support and also leads her company’s corporate partnership with the theater.
We connected with Anne Louise during our 2025 production of A Christmas Carol to discover what inspires her enduring commitment.
Why is A Christmas Carol special to you?
I first saw A Christmas Carol in the 1980s. Since 2012, I’ve made it an annual tradition. Each year’s retelling offers a fresh reminder of the goodness in people — it inspires me to be kind and to “make mankind my business.”
Tell us about your first time seeing A Christmas Carol.
I remember being awestruck by the acting, sets and music. Every year, the Guthrie’s subtle reinvention keeps me mesmerized — especially those unforgettable spirits.
What motivates your support as a corporate and an individual donor?
At Talcott Financial Group, the Guthrie stood out as a favorite among local theaters and aligns with our core values. On a more personal note, I find real meaning in supporting the arts and keeping Christmas in my heart all year.
Support the art you love
