Group Sales
The more the merrier
Whether you’re interested in bringing students to see Shakespeare or gathering friends to see a favorite show, the Guthrie welcomes groups of all ages, sizes and occasions. Groups of 15 or more also enjoy discounted tickets to performances.

General groups
Groups of adults, seniors and/or students are welcome to request group tickets for any Guthrie performance as soon as their desired shows go on sale.
Here’s how it works:
- Make your request online, by phone or by email, and we’ll reserve your tickets (subject to availability).
- Pay 20% of your total within 30 days of your reservation.
- Share the final number of tickets and pay your balance in full 60 days prior to your performance.
- Check your mailbox for the tickets, and we’ll see your group at the theater!
Group orders not completed 60 days in advance are subject to cancellation and will result in a 10% handling fee.
Student matinee groups
For select productions, we offer special 10:30 a.m. student matinee performances created just for school groups. Plus, schools may add a 30-minute, pre-play orientation to their student matinee experience, to explore the plot, characters and world of the production with a member of the Guthrie’s Artistic Team.
