A celebration 20 years in the making

This summer, the Guthrie celebrated 20 years in its iconic home on the Mississippi riverfront in downtown Minneapolis. Join us on Sunday, August 30 for a free open house brimming with fun for all ages throughout the building, including backstage tours, interactive workshops, Guthrie trivia, musical theater singalongs, story hours and more festive activities led by Guthrie staff, artists and actors.

Together as a community, we’ll honor the memories made over the past two decades and kick off a year of appreciation and partnership that will illuminate the power of theater and shine a light on the Guthrie’s future.

RSVP by August 29 for a chance to win a Standard Flex Pass subscription to our 2026–2027 Season!
